Building Maintenance ABM started life as a building maintenance company some 30 years ago and we have maintained our core values though the different disciplines in our company. With contracts being held with major supermarket chains, breweries, councils, NHS Trusts and housing associations we are feel we are very strong in these areas. We offer a 24-hour emergency response service along with day-to-day maintenance works and major refurbishment projects, to notable clients in the North West. Our fleet of vehicles carries materials and spares for our operatives to attend to works ranging from a leaking tap to major security boarding up. Our in-house team of decorators, plasterers and floor and wall tilers are experienced in all forms of finishes including, ceramic tiles, stone floor tiles the new to market polished plaster with wall finishes which come in a variety of colures. Not to mention our Hygienic Wall Cladding division, ABM Hygienic Wall Cladding Ltd if it goes on the wall or floors we’ve got it covered. From the smallest to the largest project we work with an integrated approach to the scheduling of manpower, this works strongly in our favour when planning the work involved in your tender or maintenance project. This way we can aim that the works be carried out on time and to budget, with all the correct health and safety requirements. Construction We specialise in all forms of building and construction, from groundwork through to total finish. Weather it be brickwork, concreting, glazing, wall and floor finishes, decorating, woodwork & joinery, plumbing & heating to solutions for the disabled. We have over 30 years experience in commercial and residential contracts with particular emphasis on quality and price. We look at our clients new and existing as hopefully, becoming long term clients, with a trust building to the extent that when you think construction, its ABM that comes to mind. We truly work with our clients when planning a contract as we firmly believe, that with our integrated approach to scheduling of manpower, on every contract that we work on, that this works strongly in our favor when planning your tender. We also feel that Health and Safety play a major role in carrying out our contracts effectively. So through our on going training in Health and Safety, particularly in relation to on going and ever changing legislation, this becomes of paramount importance. With our knowledge of the construction industry, we feel that we are very well placed to respond to all changes that are presented to us and consider ourselves to be proactive in preventative measures, especially when it comes to recognising issues that are brought forward during a risk assessment, that can then be reflected with any method statement that is produced for said contract.
